What a flat roof costs
Three things set the price of a flat roof: its area in square metres, whether the timber deck underneath is still sound, and which covering goes on. A patch on a small porch is quick. - Survey the deck, not just the surface. We press-test the boards for soft spots, look at the falls and check where the water is meant to drain.
- Choose the covering. Felt, GRP or EPDM, depending on how the roof is used, walked on or overlooked.

Why does water sit on my flat roof?
Standing water, or ponding, usually means the roof no longer drains as it should, often because the deck has sagged or an outlet is blocked. It speeds up wear and leads to leaks, so it is worth getting looked at. We will find the cause and sort it.
What if it rains while my flat roof is stripped?
We only strip what we can cover again the same day, and we watch the forecast when booking. If the weather turns, the open section is protected before we leave, so the room or garage underneath stays dry.
Will a new flat roof affect my gutters or walls?
